Compare this example to a similar one shot on the M240.

Shot on the 36-megapixel Sony A7R (firmware 1.0.2). Due to the shutter vibration issue, a polarizer was used to reduce shutter speed down to slow enough speeds deemed to eliminate shutter vibration as a factor, thus allowing a lens evaluation, not an evaluation inherently flawed from camera shake.

Regrettably the sibling 85mm f/2 Sonnar could not be tested here; the evaluation sample had been handled for years at trade shows and was found to be out of kilter.
