Here is what conditions were like on August 30, 2023 in the Mt Conness area / Twenty Lakes Basin.
The panorama assembled to 400 megapixels, but I found it really tricky to get full lens sharpness with any wind involved or even just on the tripod; its tripod foot (like all similar telephotos) is seemingly designed for maximum teeter-totter jello-shake.
