Sony Pixel Shift: 16-Shot Mode has No Value that I can See, Inferior to 4-Shot

As with previous Sony cameras, I tested Sony pixel shift in 16-shot mode and 4-shot mode.
As before, my determination is that 16-shot mode is not only not better, it is inferior to 4-shot mode—less sharp and much more subject to blurring from motion simply because you have 16 chances over a 4X longer timeframe to have something move.
Essentially what 16-shot mode does is to deliver a blown-up blurry mess with 4X the pixels and less detail—just a blurry enlarged mess that requires extra work to approach what 4-shot mode can do faster and better.
