The Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM is a fine lens for focus stacking. Yesterday I showed an example at 12mm.
Added now is a 2-frame focus stack at 18mm, which can be compared against a single frame for good insight into just how inadequate a single frame is for a landscape scene like this.
