This comparison evaluates the general performance and visual impact / bokeh of the Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM using a scene with a series of progressively more distant tree trunks as well as some off-center high-contrast branches to evaluate secondary color and bokeh.

This series complements Aspen Trunks at Rock Creek by using a progressive set of subject matter with less extreme blur differential than that series.
