Nikon 50mm f/1.2 AIS
Added to DAP is a start on a review of the Nikon 50mm f/1.2 AIS, the only f/1.2 lens in the Nikon lineup. Two pages are presented for starters:
Is an “oldy” a “goody”? If one envisions photography as about a lot more than sharpness, then it certainly is.
As well, the 50/1.2 AIS is a very fine lens for mirrorless cameras, as I discuss. And the build quality is gratifying compared to today’s plastic lenses. At about $700, this lens is a no-brainer for many shooters looking for something unusual.
