Review Coverage Coming
It always takes me ~2 days to get unpacked and deal with everything backed up while I was gone, but I expect to start delivering review coverage this weekend. This time, it was longer than usual, and I have 150GB of images to sort and choose from, which in itself is a time consuming task.
Material is coming on the following, though it will take some time to make the rounds as there is so much to cover:
- Extensive coverage of the new Sony DSC-RX1R (no anti-aliasing filter). To extend my review of the Sony RX1.
- Brief coverage of the new Sony DSC-RX100 II, to check it out versus the review of the Sony RX100.
- Samyang 14mm f/2.8 wide angle lens for Nikon (field shot assessments).
- Rokinon 24mm f/3.5 tilt/shift lens for Nikon (with some stitching at full shift and some tilt examples).
- Leica X Vario (comparisons and evaluation and usability).
- Leica 24mm f/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH. For more review coverage and to compare to the Leica 24mm f/3.8 Elmar-M ASPH.
- Certain Canon lens comparisons at 24mm (24/2.8 IS and 24-70/2.8L II) and 50mm f/1.2L performance.
- Some Sigma DP3 Merrill examples.
- 35mm lenses on the Nikon D800E.
