The Ricoh GR is satisfyingly sharp wide open at f/2.8, extracting superb detail from its 16MP sensor—sensor limited. Dare I say sharper than the Leica M Typ 240 most of the time, in total edge-to-edge and near-to-far sharpness? I’d put its lens up against the Leica 28/2.8 Elmarit-M ASPH any day.
