Panasonic Lumix G 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye Aperture Series (Wyman Cabin Interior)
Following up on my exterior aperture series, just published is an interior aperture series using the Panasonic 8mm f/3.5 fisheye on the Olympus OMD E-M5.
Old cabins like this should be approached with caution, due to the potential for Hantavirus. I generally do not enter fully, and I take great care not to disturb anything, which could raise virus-containing dust.
Hantavirus
A virus of a genus carried by rodents and causing various febrile hemorrhagic diseases, often with kidney damage or failure.
Hantavirus is a very serious threat, and there were some cases of Hantavirus in Yosemite in 2012, including three fatalities:
There is no cure for the disease, which kills over a third of those infected, but early detection through blood tests greatly increases survival rates.
