In my Guide to Leica, I’ve published a study of image sharpness with filters.

(I have much more coming on the Leica MM and on filters and focus, but it is quite a challenge to do such work on a laptop in my car in the mountains at 12,000' on cell-phone internet, so this will have to wait until early October).
