I am finding the Nikon D800E to be an outstanding camera in the field, and I am simply not seeing aliasing artifacts as an issue. It has become my primary camera whilst the D800 has been mostly idle now (nothing wrong with the D800!).

As for the Zeiss 28mm f/2 Distagon, I consider it a must-have lens for the Nikon D800/D800E. Its results are terrific. At about $1283, it’s among the least expensive Zeiss lenses of the ZF.2 / ZE lineup.
