My Nikon D800 / D800E RAW files feel sluggish to convert from RAW to TIF even on my 3.33 GHz 12-core Mac Pro with 64GB memory and Mercury Accelsior PCIe SSD.

Will a new Mac Pro make my D800 files open as quick to open as D3x or D4 files do on my curent Mac Pro?
