Bought the Canon 5D Mark III
Today I bought the Canon 5D Mark III from B&H Photo. Not because I wanted one.
You see, I don’t think the Canon 5D Mark III is worth the money; I’d be just as happy with the Canon 5D Mark II ($1300 less), and ultimately I want the Canon 1D X, since it will be the best Canon can offer, especially being whacked on the head by the Nikon onslaught of the D800 / D800E.
But I expect that my subscribers will want more coverage of the Canon 5D Mark III, and so I must have one to continue, as well as to compare to the 1D X when it arrives. So that is the way it is for me.
