Nikon 24mm f/1.4G Aperture Series

Just published in DAP is an aperture series from f/1.4 - f/16 for the Nikon AF-S 24mm f/1.4G.

Shown are large actual pixels crops as well as 2048 pixel full-frame images, all over the full f/1.4 - f/16 aperture range.

The actual pixels crops are also shown with and without correction of lateral chromatic aberration (color fringing).

This example is very interesting to me, because it shows clearly what the limits of resolving power are over the frame with respect to aperture— recommended reading for those looking at the Nikon D800 / D800E.
