Leica Guide: 50 Summilux or Noctilux?

You might not be able to find either 50mm lens anywhere for sale (intense demand), but at least you can make an informed decision for the wait list.

Just published in my Guide to Leica is a comparison of the Leica 50/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH to the 50/0.95 Noctilux-M ASPH, from aperture ƒ/0.95 through ƒ/16, with half-stop increments through ƒ/4. Included are high-res full-frame shots as an “animated” aperture series, and ditto for half a dozen large size crops.

Also added are wide aperture landscape examples with the Noctilux at ƒ/0.95.
