Yosemite Hwy 120 Tioga Pass is OPEN with NO SNOW — Ice Skate in a T-Shirt! Latest since 1933

Dennis Mattinson of the Eastern Sierra Weather Center wrote—

I was up at Tioga Pass yesterday and it was unbelievable. Mount Dana, NO Snow; Tuolumne Meadows. NO snow.

People hiking in shirts only. Convertibles driving by with the top down. Motorcycles passing by. Looked a lot like June / July after a normal winter. Ellery Lake frozen with ice skaters having fun in the sun.

Record broken for being open this late (since 1933).

DIGLLOYD: Well, looks like I need to head out of town within a few days. This is an AMAZING opportunity.
