Zeiss 25mm f/2 Distagon —
Aperture Series for Landscape

Just published in my Zeiss Guide is a aperture series in 1/3 stops from f/2 through f/16.

I spend more time on analysis in this series than on the previous example aperture series, and it is revealing of how the 25/2 Distagon behaves.

Much more coming on the Zeiss 25/2 and the Leica 21/3.4 Super-Elmar-M. I had some wonderful weather for shooting, perhaps one of the most glorious days I’ve ever seen in this area, with snow filtering down in the sunlight for several hours.

Image below is with the Leica 21mm f/3.4 Super-Elmar-M ASPH on the Leica M9. Self portrait using a tripod.

I stayed warm with the Western Mountaineering Flash XR down jacket and Flash down pants and IbexWear Shak Hoody wool pullover and wool jacket, even down to 10° F.
