Schneider PC-TS Super-Angulon 50mm f/2.8 Example Coming Soon

Thanks to LensRentals.com, the new Schneider PC-TS 50mm f/2.8 Super-Angulon (about $3365) is on the way for testing (Canon mount).

As I head out to Yosemite soon for a photo tour, I’ll be shooting the 90mm f/4.5 on the Nikon D3x, and the 50mm f/2.8 Super-Angulon on the Canon 5D Mark II.

I’ll have a full report on the 50/2.8 Super-Angulon next week after I return from my trip, and expanded in-the-field coverage of both lenses, with an emphasis on high-resolution composite images via shift-lens stitching (see my how-to in my review).
