Just published in my review of the Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8G is a series of landscape examples with the Nikon 50/1.8G, mostly at f/1.8, but also with some stopped-down comparisons.
The 50/1.8G makes a very fine lens for handheld shooting, and it offers great color and contrast at a bargain price.
