Lateral Chromatic Aberration (Color Fringing) With Zeiss 35/1.4 Distagon vs Zeiss 35/2 Distagon

Soccer at Dusk Canon 5D Mark II + Zeiss ZE 35mm f/1.4 Distagon @ f/1.4

Just posted in my Guide to Zeiss ZF / ZE lenses is a page comparing the Zeiss 35/1.4 Distagon to the 35/2 Distagon in terms of color fringing.

The 35/1.4 Distagon is a very highly corrected lens for lateral chromatic aberration, reducing red/cyan color fringing to an absolute minimum, even at the corners of the frame.

As an aside, I am hoping to hear from Zeiss on the availability of both Nikon ZF.2 and Canon ZE mount versions of the Zeiss lenses, since they are built in Japan by Cosina.
