Reader appreciates Zeiss USA service and 2 year warranty

Hello Lloyd,

As you may remember I wrote to you about 2 weeks ago commenting on a problem that I was having with a Zeiss 2/35 ZE lens. The issue was with a communication failure between camera (5D mk2) and the lens. The lens was purchased about a year ago and used extensively. I contacted Zeiss about the problem and was advised to send the lens to Zeiss for inspection and repair. Today I received a NEW replacement 2/35. I think that it is important for your readers to appreciate the 2 year warranty that covers Zeiss lenses. The company stands behind their product and has excellent customer service. — Tim R
